Building a process to take from concept to product to maintaining the product throughout its lifecycle is the goal of the Smart Pi planter project.
The aim is to make sure that from the start the project has feasible and valuable and that the data and information of the project/product is captured thought the its life cycle.
How this will work ...
Conceptual design - drawing the product from words and idea so images and visualizing the idea by putting it on paper.
Project Report - taking the ideas of the project and the words associated with the idea and turning it into a document that stores the essential conversation around the product.
Measure the data - cant manage what you don't measure so now it's about gathering the measurements, the numbers and qualities associated with the product and measure them over time, to determine how the production and product have changed over time.
Overview of the Roadmap - the dashboard is a basic board that holds the analysis of the reports, and displays them in a way that visually summarize each result, so that you have quick view of the product and project status, basically a status window.
The interactive visual map and pieces - this is the map of each product and project put in one map, so that each item on the map or digital asset is an object with its own status window, showing its dashboard which is the overview of the roadmap. This makes the process of managing all the resources easier because you can see them as objects in a world rather then on a flat piece in a folder of paper.
The "Deku Tree" taking plastic waste by turning it into "Smart Planters" This way that we can make plastic valuable to the digital modern age. We have been able to execute on printing the model, but are still in the process of finishing the first DIY Kit version.
We are working on utilizing AI to generate different planter models that can be printed with the recycled plastic, allowing easy custom planters through a AI Generative process.
